What is a Makerspace?

A makerspace is a community run work space for creating, learning, and collaborating with like-minded individuals. Makerspaces provide a space to work,  access to tools, and the shared knowledge of the community, to enable you express your creativity and bring your project ideas to life!

Our Makerspaces

Makersmiths is a volunteer run 501(c) non-profit organization with two locations. We have a space in Leesburg, VA and one in Purcellville, VA. Members get access to both locations.

Our spaces include two woodshops, laser cutting/engraving, 3D printing, electronics, CNC mills, metal working, forging, ceramics, leather working, sewing, printing, and more!

Events and Classes

We hold events and offer classes to both Makersmiths members and the general public. Check out our Make and Take classes, where you can learn a new skill and make something to take home with you. See the calendar for more.
