Students will receive an introduction to the process of making a turned pen. They will then turn a pen on a lathe and take the pen home with them. All materials for this class will be provided.

The class fee will include all tools and supplies for turning their pen.

No experience with wood turning is required, but a comfort level with power tools will be helpful.

Wear closed-toed shoes, short sleeves, and eye protection (bring yours or use ours). Optional: Hearing protection, particle filter, or dust mask.

We will meet in the woodturning shop at the Leesburg location.

If you are new to Makersmiths, fill out an online waiver form prior to coming to class: https://waiver.fr/p-NVPOj
