We will delve into the back-end of Makersmiths Member Management Software. You may have not ever heard of WildApricot but it looms large as the basis of keeping track of who is a member, what certifications they have, what classes and events are being scheduled, how we keep track of everything, including what we see with the web facing pages. We will meet in the Green Room at Makersmiths-Purcellville.
This is an opportunity for folks that run Makersmiths, as well as folks that may be curious about how to help run Makersmiths to learn about WildApricot and how it's all configured.
We're NOT going to learn all about WildApricot in one session, but this will be an overview of the modules within WildApricot. At the end of the session, we will touch base upon opportunities that exist to extend WildApricot with third-party software.
Instructor has been using WildApricot for the better part of last 10 years and will try his best to show the big picture as well as answer your questions.
The class is targeted to the 'usual suspects', those of us 20% of members who do the 80% of the work to keep Makersmiths running.
