Get to Know Your Cricut by Making a Haunted Halloween House
There are so many fun things you can make with a Cricut cutting machine. In this family-friendly Cricut class, we will learn how to select, download and cut out a haunted house template to make a haunted house for Halloween. The image above was made from the Davenport Putz house template, free from Lucy Foxcroft's PaperGlitterGlue website.
In this class, beginner Cricut users will also learn how to find SVG's to add to the haunted theme of your house, created folders to organize their files, convert cut lines to score lines, arrange SVG files to cut "smart" - among other tips and tricks working with projects using a Cricut.
For more experienced Cricut users, you will be introduced to Dreaming Tree haunted house projects such as this whimsical haunted house made by a Makersmiths member last year! Both houses were entered into the 2023 Mini Haunted House Contested sponsored by PaperGlitterGlue.com.
We will meet in the classroom of the lower brick building. When registering, indicate whether you need to use a Makersmiths' Cricut or whether you are bringing your own Cricut Machine. For each adult who registers, they may bring ONE youth ages 10+ as a helper.
