This is an introduction to the EBF CNC Router. Participants will learn how to set up and cut material on this machine. This workshop will feature an overview presentation in the Green Room followed by a hands-on practical experience on the CNC for each attendee in the wood shop. Each attendee will operate the machine to cut a sample job using instructor-supplied materials.

This class will prep participants for Red Tool certification on the machine. Following the class, participants can schedule a short session with the instructor where they bring in their own project and cut it with the instructor present to demonstrate that they can use the machine safely on their own thereafter.

Pre-requisite Skill Level: Some familiarity with vector drawing, 3D drawing and/or CNC.  If you don't already have these, attend one of our Adobe Illustrator classes and watch  Youtube videos on basic wood CNC topics.  Setting up and running the machine is very small part of the overall process of bringing your designs to life.
