This is a meeting for Makersmiths members who have ideas for establishing K-12 educational initiatives at Makersmiths. Since 2018, Makersmiths members have coached children in KidWind wind and solar teams from late fall through spring. Members have offered Introduction to Arduinos and Fun with of Gears workshops. For the past four years, during the school year, other Makersmiths members served as mentors to high school students completing school projects for a projects research class or STEM fair. These are just some examples of K-12 initiatives that members of Makersmiths have sponsored. Do you have ideas for how Makersmiths can offer STEM initiatives to K-12 students? Do you have a desire to serve as a mentor or coach for a STEM project? Please join us in the Green Room at Makersmiths-Purcellville.

If you cannot attend in person, upon registering for this meeting, a confirmation will be sent to you with the Google Meet hyperlink.
