The class is an introduction to very basic blacksmithing for adult beginners (ages 18 and older). We will have a short discussion of hammers and tongs followed by a demonstration about how to make a Dragon Scale Poker. You will then make a Dragon Scale Poker. Participants must wear full coverage clothing, closed toed shoes, and bring safety glasses to wear.  Hearing protection optional.  Additional individual work will be required to fit and finish your axe handle (bland and wedge provided).

Due to the advance preparation of materials there can be no cancellations or refunds on this workshop.

If you are new to Makersmiths, please fill out the Waiver form at https://waiver.fr/p-NVPOj prior to coming to the workshop.
