Want to add a bit of flare to your woodworking projects? Participants will learn to craft a bowtie and go through the steps of cutting the profile and installing the custom bowtie into a piece of sample hardwood. Each student will use a router to create the inlay, and a bandsaw and sanders to create a bowtie. There will be opportunity to use different hardwoods and practice the technique on different samples.

Prerequisites: Basic Red Tool training basic comfort level with palm router or regular router. Please bring safety goggles to wear. The instructor will provide hardwood samples such as maple, cherry, walnut, and oak, and wood glue.
