Starting a CNC project can be daunting if you don't know all of the steps involved. Only 10% of the process of a CNC project is actually cutting your material. This class is an overview of other 90% of the steps required to go from a concept to a detailed design to GCode ready to be run on the Big Red and Big Blue CNC machines at Makersmiths.

In this class you will get an overview of the tools used by many Makersmiths members to complete CNC projects (including Inkscape, Fusion 360 and VCarve) and one process for moving through the steps that will take your project from concept to being ready to start that endmill spinning and complete your project.  This class will be presentation and demonstration based so there is no need to install software prior to the class.

The presentation material and a link to a recording of the session will be provided.
