In this workshop for adults ages 18 and older, learn basic safety requirements for GMAW (MIG) welding. Learn and practice basic welding techniques. Design and fabricate a cross using horseshoes and take it home. Project materials will be provided.

The class will begin in the Green Room at Makersmiths-Purcellville and then transition to the welding area.

Welding creates lots of sparks, so wear clothes that you're ok with getting small burns on.   Do NOT wear nylon (ski jackets will not work) .  Consider wearing long underwear, a long sleeve t-shirt, and a flannel for your top. Also wear closed toe shoes or boots.  We have welding gloves and helmets for you to wear.

New to Makersmiths. Please fill out the Waiver form that is online at https://waiver.fr/p-NVPOj
