Come join us for a potluck, talk and interactive discussion about how to improve our community outreach efforts and get more funding for both of our spaces with Joel Leonard. 

We are calling this the "hold my beer community event" because we want each of you to think of the best idea, and then try and one up each other. If you'd like to bring your own beer to actually hand over, that is also welcome (just don't take it past the main room). We'd also love it if each person brought a dish, dessert, soda, etc so we can all have full stomachs during the event.

Now a bit more about our speaker...

Joel has worked with many other makerspaces across the country and is very involved in the Nation of Makers group/event. He is currently driving up the east coast, and asked to stop here on his way.

  • Leesburg Open House: Thursdays 6-8pm
  • Purcellville Open House: Tuesdays 6-8pm
