Basic Skill Class



This class goes over the basics of Arduino programming centered on setting up and using Neopixels. Class will focus on building glue stick sculptures. Class has two options for bases for the Sculpture: Circle or Rectangle. 

NO EXPERIENCE WITH SOLDERING NECESSARY!

Outline:
  • Building the Sculpture. 
  • Installing and setting up the Arduino integrated development environment to write programs in on personal Laptops.
  • Basics of Arduino programming (If you already know programming basics you may get bored.)
  • How to make custom light patterns to run on the lights integrated in base of the Sculpture.

  • Laptop w/ USB port
