There are tons of options for makers when it comes to micro controllers and people are often asking what is the best to start with and what can they do.

This class is a 101 class to introduce micro controllers, setup a development environment and start playing around with them.

What are the differences between Arduino models and other variants and how to choose the best device for the task at hand.

Introduce the Arduino board and development environment

Hands on with the Arduino including setting up the IDE and also doing some basic sketches. Play with NeoPixels (RGB LEDs), Servos, Speaker/Buzzer, and general input/output.

Required: Bring your own laptop which we will setup the IDE as part of this class

Bring your own Arduino board if you have it but one will be provided if you don't have one.

A parent & child (under 13) only count as one person.
